Political Action Committee (PAC) Objective The Placer Congress operates a political action committee (PAC) for the purpose of supporting mainstream Republican candidates in elections effecting Placer County (Republican Central Committee, State Assembly and State Senate.) Process The PAC only supports candidates that have received the 2/3 endorsement of the Placer Congress membership pursuit to our By Laws. The PAC members, nominated by the President and approved by the Board of Directors, then meet to consider the merits of each endorsed candidate and the appropriate level of financial support. How To Become Involved The PAC is funded through fund raising initiatives of the Finance Committee.
